Thank You for Your Word and for this chapter that reminds us to pray for all people, for those in authority, and for the salvation of all. Thank You for the reminder to live peaceful and quiet lives, godly and dignified in every way. May we be faithful in our prayers for others, seeking Your will and Your glory in all things.
Help us to pray for those in authority, that they may lead with wisdom, integrity, and justice. May they seek Your guidance and rely on Your strength as they make decisions that impact so many. And may we be respectful and supportive of those in authority, knowing that Your sovereignty is ultimately in control of all things.
We also pray for the salvation of all, that they may come to know the truth of Your love and grace. Give us the words and the opportunities to share Your gospel with those who have not yet heard it, and soften their hearts to receive it.
May we live peaceful and quiet lives, shining Your light in the darkness, and may we always be faithful to Your calling. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
