2 Re 16

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before You today with a humble and contrite heart, seeking Your guidance and wisdom. Just as King Ahaz looked for help from earthly powers in 2 Kings 16, I sometimes find myself looking for help in all the wrong places and forgetting to turn to You first. Please forgive me for my lack of faith and reliance on my own strength.

I pray that You would help me to trust in You alone, knowing that You are the one true source of help and salvation. Please give me the strength to resist the temptation to seek solutions in the world, and instead place my trust in You.

I also ask for the wisdom to discern Your will for my life and the courage to follow it. Just as King Ahaz allowed fear and doubt to consume him, I too often let worry and anxiety cloud my judgment. Please grant me peace and confidence in Your plan for me.

Help me to remember that You are always with me and that I can seek Your guidance and strength in times of trouble. Thank You for Your unconditional love and mercy, and for always being there to hear my prayers.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.

Caro Padre celeste,

Vengo davanti a te oggi con un cuore umile e contrito, cercando la tua guida e saggezza. Proprio come King Acaz ha cercato aiuto dai poteri terreni in 2 Re 16, a volte mi ritrovo a cercare aiuto in tutti i posti sbagliati e dimentico di rivolgermi prima a te. Per favore perdonami per la mia mancanza di fede e affidamento sulla mia forza.

Prego che tu mi aiuti a fidarmi di te da solo, sapendo che sei l’unica vera fonte di aiuto e salvezza. Per favore, dammi la forza di resistere alla tentazione di cercare soluzioni nel mondo e invece difendi la mia fiducia in te.

Chiedo anche alla saggezza di discernere la tua volontà per la mia vita e il coraggio di seguirla. Proprio come King Acaz permetteva alla paura e al dubbio di consumarlo, troppo spesso lasciavo che la preoccupazione e l’ansia offustino il mio giudizio. Per favore, concedimi pace e fiducia nel tuo piano per me.

Aiutami a ricordare che sei sempre con me e che posso cercare la tua guida e la tua forza in tempi di guai. Grazie per il tuo amore incondizionato e misericordia e per essere sempre lì per ascoltare le mie preghiere.

Justo cuando el Rey Ahaz buscó ayuda de los poderes terrenales en 2 Reyes 16, a veces me encuentro buscando ayuda en todos los lugares equivocados y olvido recurrir a usted primero. Por favor, perdóname por mi falta de fe y dependencia de mi propia fuerza.

Rezo para que me ayudes a confiar en ti solo, sabiendo que eres la única fuente de ayuda y salvación. Por favor, dame la fuerza para resistir la tentación de buscar soluciones en el mundo y, en cambio, poner mi confianza en ti.

También pido la sabiduría para discernir su voluntad para mi vida y el coraje de seguirla. Justo cuando el rey Ahaz permitió que el miedo y la duda lo consumieran, con demasiada frecuencia dejo que la preocupación y la ansiedad nublaran mi juicio. Por favor, otorgame paz y confianza en tu plan para mí.

Ayúdame a recordar que siempre estás conmigo y que puedo buscar tu guía y fortaleza en tiempos de problemas. Gracias por su incondicional amor y misericordia, y por estar siempre allí para escuchar mis oraciones.
