Thank You for Your Word and for this chapter. Thank You for speaking to us through the prophets and for showing us Your heart for justice and righteousness.
Help me to heed the warnings and admonitions in this chapter, and to not be complacent or indifferent to the injustices and sins around me. Give me a heart that seeks after Your will and desires to see Your kingdom established on earth.
Forgive me for the times when I have turned a blind eye to the suffering of others or when I have failed to act justly and love mercy. Empower me to be an agent of change in the world, to stand up for the oppressed and to work towards a more just and righteous society.
I pray for Your mercy and grace to be poured out on our world, and for Your kingdom to come in fullness. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
