1 Samuel 18

Dear God,

Thank You for Your Word and for this chapter. It is a powerful reminder of the importance of friendship and loyalty, and the impact of jealousy and envy on relationships. Help me to be a true friend, to love and support others without being envious or insecure. Teach me to rejoice in the success of others and to be a source of encouragement and blessing to those around me.

Thank You for the example of Jonathan and David, and their deep bond of friendship. Help me to cultivate such relationships in my own life, and to be a faithful and loyal friend to those You have placed in my path.

Guard my heart against jealousy and bitterness, and help me to trust in Your sovereignty and goodness, knowing that You have a unique plan and purpose for my life. May I find contentment and joy in Your love and provision, and be a vessel of Your grace and mercy to others.

Gracias por tu Palabra y por este texto en 1 Samuel 18 que nos muestra la amistad valiente y leal entre Jonatán y David. Que podamos ser como Jonatán, que demostró amor, lealtad y sacrificio hacia su amigo David, incluso cuando eso significaba renunciar a su propio derecho al trono. Ayúdanos a aprender a amar y apoyar a nuestros amigos de una manera desinteresada y sacrificada, como lo hizo Jonatán.

Señor, te pido que nos des la valentía y la sabiduría para ser amigos verdaderos, para alentarnos mutuamente en la fe y para poner las necesidades de los demás por encima de las nuestras. Que podamos aprender a ser fieles en la amistad, mostrando amor y lealtad incluso en los momentos difíciles. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
