Thank You for Your Word and for this text that reminds me of the consequences of turning away from You, just like King Manasseh did in this chapter. I confess that there are times when I have also turned away from You and pursued my own desires. Please forgive me for those moments and help me to turn back to You wholeheartedly.
I pray that You would open my eyes to see the ways in which I have allowed idolatry and sinful practices to creep into my life. Help me to root out those things and to turn to You as my one true God.
I also pray for those around me who are caught in the same trap of sin and idolatry. May Your Spirit move in their hearts and bring them back to You.
Thank You for Your never-ending love and grace. Help me to live for You each day and to honor You in all that I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
