Thank You for Your Word and for this chapter. Thank You for the stories of Your power and faithfulness displayed in the lives of Your people.
As I meditate on this passage, I pray that You would help me to be obedient to Your commands and to fulfill the purposes You have for me just as Jehu was obedient in carrying out Your commands. Give me the courage and strength to stand up for what is right and to follow You wholeheartedly.
I also pray for a heart of discernment, just as Jehu displayed in recognizing and dealing with those who were opposing Your will. Help me to discern between truth and deception, and to act accordingly.
Above all, I pray that my life would bring glory to Your name and be a testimony of Your grace and faithfulness. Thank You for Your unconditional love and for always being with me.
