2 Peter 1

Dear God,

thank You for Your Word and for this chapter. It reminds me of the importance of adding to my faith goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, mutual affection, and love. Help me to live a life that reflects these qualities, and to continually grow in my knowledge and understanding of You.

I pray for Your grace and strength to live a life that is pleasing to You, and to resist the temptations and distractions that come my way. May I be a shining light for You in this world, and may others see Your love and glory through me.

Thank You for Your promises and for the assurance that as I continue to grow in these qualities, I will not stumble, and I will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Gracias por tu Palabra y por este texto de 2 Pedro 1, que me recuerda la importancia de añadir a mi fe virtud, conocimiento, dominio propio, paciencia, piedad, afecto fraternal y amor. Ayúdame a crecer en estas cualidades y a nunca olvidar que quien las posee en abundancia no será inútil ni estéril en el conocimiento de nuestro Señor Jesucristo. Permíteme ser diligente en hacer firme mi vocación y elección. Fortaléceme para no caer jamás, y así ser recibido ampliamente en el reino eterno de nuestro Señor y Salvador Jesucristo.

Te pido, Señor, que me ayudes a vivir de acuerdo a tus promesas, a ser fiel a tu llamado y a establecer mi vida sobre la roca sólida de tu Palabra. Que cada día pueda progresar en mi relación contigo y en el conocimiento de tu amor y tu gracia. Gracias por tu fidelidad y por tu constante presencia en mi vida. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
