Proverbs 18

Dear God,

Thank You for Your Word and for this chapter. I am grateful for the wisdom and insights it offers. Please help me to apply these teachings to my life and to seek Your guidance in all things.

I pray that You would give me a discerning heart, that I may listen carefully and consider all perspectives before forming my opinions. Help me to be slow to anger and quick to listen, and to always speak words that bring life and encouragement to others.

I ask for Your protection from the harmful effects of gossip and negative talk, and for the strength to resist the temptation to speak ill of others. May my words be a source of healing and grace to those around me.

Lord, I also pray for humility and for the wisdom to seek and accept wise counsel from others. Help me to be open to correction and to always be willing to learn and grow.

Thank You for Your love and guidance, and for the promise that when we seek wisdom, we will find it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Gracias por tu Palabra y por este texto de Proverbios 18 que me recuerda la importancia de escuchar antes de hablar. Ayúdame a ser una persona reflexiva y paciente, que busque entendimiento antes de expresar mis opiniones. Que mi lengua sea sabia y edificante, y que pueda aprender a controlar mis impulsos para no dañar a otros con mis palabras.

Señor, te pido que me enseñes a buscar la sabiduría y a valorar el consejo de los demás, para poder crecer en conocimiento y discernimiento. Que mi boca sea fuente de vida y de aliento para quienes me rodean. Gracias por tu amor y tu guía en mi vida, y por recordarme que la humildad y la prudencia son virtudes que debo cultivar. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
