Thank You for Your Word and for this chapter. Thank You for the wisdom and guidance we can receive from studying the lives of the people in the Bible.
As I read about the end of David’s life and the instructions he gave to Solomon, I am reminded of the importance of following Your commands and seeking Your wisdom in all that we do. Help me to be obedient to Your will and to seek Your guidance in every decision I make.
I pray that You would give me the wisdom and discernment that Solomon asked for, so that I may be a faithful and obedient servant to You. Help me to walk in Your ways and to honor You in everything I do.
Thank You for Your faithfulness and for Your constant presence in my life. I trust in Your wisdom and guidance, and I ask for Your help in living a life that is pleasing to You.
