Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
You are the Father to the fatherless and the defender of the weak. I come to You today with a heavy heart for the children in need around the world. So many innocent children are suffering from poverty, hunger, abuse, and neglect. I pray that You would provide for their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Comfort them in their distress and surround them with Your love and protection.
I ask for Your guidance and wisdom for those who are working to help these children. Give them the resources and support they need to make a difference in the lives of these little ones. Help us to be aware of ways we can be a part of the solution and to be generous with our resources and time. May we be willing to reach out and offer our prayers, assistance, and advocacy.
Lord, I lift up these precious children to You, knowing that You have a special place in Your heart for them. I ask that You would bring them hope, healing, and restoration. Let them know that they are not forgotten and that they are deeply loved by You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
