My God,

You are the God of compassion and mercy, and I come before You today with a heavy heart for the homeless in our communities. I pray for those who have no shelter, no food, and no one to care for them. I pray that You would provide for their needs and protect them from harm. Help us to have compassionate hearts and be willing to reach out and help those in need.

I pray that You would bring comfort and hope to the homeless, that they would feel Your presence in their lives and know that they are not forgotten. I pray that You would raise up people and organizations to come alongside them, to provide for their physical needs and offer them a sense of dignity and worth. Help us to be Your hands and feet in this world, to be a source of love and support for those who are struggling.

Lord, I ask that You would bring transformation to the lives of the homeless, that they would find a way out of their situation and be able to experience the fullness of life that You intend for them. May they come to know You and find hope and purpose in their lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
