Isaiah 1

Dear God,

thank You for Your Word and for this chapter. Thank You for the reminder of the importance of seeking justice, correcting oppression, defending the fatherless, and pleading for the widow. Help me to heed these admonitions and actively pursue justice and mercy in my own life and in the world around me.

Forgive me for the times I have turned away from Your ways and pursued my own selfish desires. Help me to turn back to You and walk in Your path of righteousness. Give me a heart of compassion and empathy for those who are suffering and in need.

Thank You for the promise of redemption and forgiveness through Christ. Help me to live in the freedom and grace that He has provided, and to extend that same grace to others.

Gracias por tu Palabra y por este texto que me recuerda la importancia de la rectitud y la justicia en mi vida. Ayúdame a ser sensible a tus mandatos y a alejarme de la maldad. Que mi corazón se llene de compasión por los menos afortunados y que mis acciones reflejen tu amor y misericordia. Te pido sabiduría para discernir entre el bien y el mal, y fortaleza para mantenerme firme en mi fe, aún en medio de las dificultades.

Te ruego que me transformes a través de tu Espíritu Santo, para que mi vida sea un testimonio de tu gracia y tu bondad. Que mi andar sea recto delante de tus ojos y que pueda vivir en paz y armonía con mi prójimo. Ayúdame a buscar siempre la justicia y a ser luz en un mundo lleno de tinieblas.
