A friend

Bible references
– Proverbs 17:17
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

– Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!

– Proverbs 27:17
Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.

– 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.

– James 5:16
Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.

– Colossians 3:12-14
Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

My God,

You are the creator of all things, and I come before You today on behalf of my friend. I lift them up to You and ask for Your loving presence to surround them. I pray that they may feel Your peace and comfort in the midst of whatever trials they are facing. Give them the strength and wisdom to navigate through their challenges, and help them to find hope in Your promises.

I ask that You would pour out Your blessings upon my friend, and that they may experience Your grace in abundance. Heal any wounds that they carry, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Renew their spirit and fill them with Your joy and peace. May they feel Your loving embrace and know that they are never alone, for You are always with them.

Lord, I trust in Your faithfulness and believe that You are listening to my prayer for my friend. I thank You for the opportunity to intercede on their behalf, and I trust that You will work all things for their good. May they feel the power of Your love and the strength of Your presence in their lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
